Over the past weekend I interview one of my good friends Brittany and former duet partner for my final assignment in my Small Format class where we had to interview and take pictures then put it all together in a slideshow. I really enjoyed spending time with Brittany and being back in the studio after several months, it reminded me how much I miss dance. Here are just a few of the pictures I shot while on location.

HDR
For my Custom Color class we had a week to either take a photograph or choose one that we had taken previously and edit into an HDR image, this was one I was just messing around with. We could of used different types of software and I chose to use Photomatix.

Also, over the weekend I met this local artist who is originally from New Jersey, her name is Leftside Dominant, she was extremely nice and she had beautiful eyes. I am still searching for her work!

"stranger danger"
Over the weekend I went to downtown Asheboro and there was a car show! I ran into this precious couple who recently moved to Asheboro, they are originally from up North. They were nice enough to let me take their picture for the 36 stranger assignment!

And I feel it in my heart and my hips I feel it
Won't you stay shot gun until the day I die?"

Splish & Splash
Over the weekend I took a few photos of my friend's little brother having a ball in their pool, for my blog assignment this week! He really enjoyed being the center of attention, he even told his mom "she's going to take pictures of me cause I'M FAMOUS!" :)

FLASH!
Today, in Jay's class (Small Format) we started using flash! It was pretty scary at first and on top of that we had an assignment due by the end of lab which is 4:45 where we had to go out and shoot using different flash techniques, but in the end it came out just dandy. It was actually one of the easiest assignments to date. Learning how to use an external flash is proving to be both challenging and exciting. Ill be able to produce a wider variety of images.
Here are a few out takes...
