For my Custom Color class we had a week to either take a photograph or choose one that we had taken previously and edit into an HDR image, this was one I was just messing around with. We could of used different types of software and I chose to use Photomatix.

There is something so unique about the HDR technique... the blending of these images is kinda scary, as you don't want to lose the unique flavor that you have, such as the sunlight star pattern at the lamppost.
The reflectivity of the glass on the wall in back is interesting, and it's mirroring the smokestack behind you. It's cool that it is in parallel to the lamppost.
What would happen if you were to photoshop the smokestack out and just make all the glass blue? Could this improve an already cool image?
